AFLA national foil champion (1955, '58, '60, '70), medalist eight times. Member, US. Olympic team (1952, '56, '60, '64, '68). Olympic bronze medalist in foil individual (1960). Editor, "American Fencing" magazine (1986-90). IFA and NCAA foil champion for CCNY (1948).
